Having been educated by the 1/2nd graders in regard to water conservation, we are changing how we do our last afternoon of school together. Rather than a “Water Exchange” we’ll be having a Field Day at the recreation fields on Summer Street. We’ll walk over at 11:30 and have lunch together. Our Health and Fitness teacher, Barbara Franks, has planned some fun events for the children such as the old fashioned sack race and the egg in a spoon carry. The school will be divided into 8 teams and spend the afternoon trying all the events. Teachers will be in charge of each event, but we do need 6 parent volunteers to help us run the games.
