On Friday, May 13th, at 8:00, our school will be hosting a dedication of the Grant Brown Narnia Adventure Garden in honor and remembrance of Grant Fieldon Brown who tragically passed away in the summer of 2013. This garden/play space honors Grant’s sense of adventure, his imagination, and his love for the Chronicles of Narnia as well as his love for the school and the friendships he delighted in.
The first and second grade natural playground project, which was part of their expedition, was a perfect fit to complete the vision for the garden as a Narnian-inspired natural playground to spark imaginative play. Through the hard work of parents and students the side yard is being transformed.
Please join us on May 13th as we unveil a bronze plaque and introduce some of the new elements in the garden/playground.
